Hats off to Daisy

Waterstones on Bold Street has a new author in residence - for children only - SevenStreets' favourite, Daisy Dawes.

SevenStreets’ favourite author turned model maker, Daisy Dawes is the new resident children’s author at Waterstone’s in Bold Street.

Daisy and the team at Waterstone’s will be holding monthly ‘Crafternoons’ - workshops and events for children based on their favourite books, including Daisy’s debut book, featured a couple of months back on our site, Get Ahead Fred.

Wirral based Daisy, who has worked as a model maker for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and Pingu will be sharing her model making and craft skills with youngsters who visit the Bold Street book shop throughout the year.

The next session will be held on Saturday September 25, from 1pm-3pm.
