Radar: TiLT Dance Platform at The Kazimier

TiLT's first dance platform of 2013 sees a number of local dance practitioners heading to The Kazimier.

2013′s first TiLT dance platform takes place tomorrow at the Kazimier, showcasing new and established dance pieces from five local artists.

Accompanying all of this will be live music from Dead Hedge, a guitar-drum-sax trio who provide alt-jazz-rock. If you’re going with your Mum you can treat her to cream tea and scones too. Or, if that’s a bit too Mumsy there’s always champagne on hand.

TiLT provides a platform for dancers looking to showcase in Liverpool and the enigmatic Kazimier makes for an intimate venue for the performers, who include Jo Ashbridge, A Strange Case Of…, Kovic Dance Company, Oblique Strategists and Fluxus Research Collective this time around.

The evening consists of a selection of varying contemporary dance pieces and audiences are encouraged to stay afterward and liaise with the artists.

TiLT dance also has its own space within Mello Mello, which provides space for a range of classes and workshops including various forms of Yoga, Capoeira and improvisation, with contemporary dance, ballet and Tai Chi.

Since it’s Mothering Sunday - particularly appropriate as one of the performers is with child - a Mum with child can get in for a special rate of £9 too. You can pay on the door or book online.
