Radar: Ten Bands Ten Minutes

How best to honour the oeuvre of the man they once called Symbol? Do it in tiny, tasty mouthfuls. We think the great man would approve.

Purveyors of ridiculously good fun since, ooh, a bit ago, Gold Soundz returns with a (pocket) rocket. This weekend sees the Ten Bands Ten Minutes madness ensue, in celebration of the petite purveyor of satin-clad soul, Prince. And that’s a back catalogue well worth a delve into, if you’ll pardon our freshness. We hope at least one of them plays Controversy.

Taking part:

Married to the Sea
Good Grief
Hillary & The Democrats
Doubledoubleplusgood
Vasco da Gama
Alpha Male Tea Party
Cavalier Song
Vette Brakes
So Sexual
Stock Footage

…after which those dandy disc jockeys from the Gold Soundz stables will be whipping you up into something approaching a lather.
