Radar: Poltergeist

Kraut rock, psych rock, space rock, old kids on the block rock… call it what you will, Poltergeist is the new project from Echo and The Bunnymen guitarist Will Sergeant, joining forces once again with legendary bassist Les Pattinson (now ensconced in Wild Swans) - an instrumental journey into the netherlands of Sergeant’s wilfully esoteric, eastern-tinged influences, with Bunnymen drummer Nick Kilroe.

“I want it to be a bit progressive, really. Somewhere between krautrock and prog rock. I don’t know what it’s going to be like, really. … It’s a different thing. It’s going to be an instrumentally kind of Mogwai thing,” Sergeant sort-of explains.

Should be fun, whatever it sounds like.
