Who: California’s Best Coast are just what we ordered for summer. Sure, they’re a bit late. But their multi-layered, woozy wall of sound is dripping in west coast reverb. Hazy guitars, nods to 50′s/60′s girl groups, and - just possibly - the 80′s candyfloss pop of Voice of the Beehive/Dolly Mixtures: their noise-pop is just the tonic for these muggy dog days of August.
