Friend or Foe’s Greatest Hits

When Friend or Foe curate a musical mini-fest, you can expect one devilishly good night in church...

Friday sees the latest instalment of Friend or Foe’s superb PRESENTS series descend on The Nordic Church. It promises to be an eclectic one to say the least, featuring performers drawn from previous Friend or Foe line- ups, and will showcase new and one-off collaborations.

Catering to our sonic needs is a diverse bunch; in the mix are Esa, an artist rocking a nice line in crisp and clean space-pop (check out Monde Capricorn), Chiz Turnross of Elfin Spurs fame (pic), whose involvement we’re told, promises a ‘surprise collaboration’ (your guess is as good as ours) and last, but certainly not least, we’ll be treated to a solo-slot of swamp-blues from Cubical front-
man/raconteur Danny Wilson, accompanied by Rod Leung from Biltone and Siofra Ward providing gravitas on Cello.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, the scene will be set by artist and film-maker Robyn Woolston, who will be creating an exclusive installation within the surrounds of the Nordic Church. To our minds, this adds up to night throwing the kitchen sink at it – expect a feast for the senses.
