Stream Stealing Sheep’s debut album ‘Into The Diamond Sun’

Listen to their first full-length in its entirety, via the magic of the internet. Hint: it's great. Plus, they've announced a new headline date at the Kazimier.

We gave you a nudge when Liverpool trio Stealing Sheep’s debut album was released last month, and now the kind people at Heavenly Records have put the full thing online for everyone to hear. Wonderful.

The stream comes, rather bizarrely, via the excellent but completely New York-centric gig blog Brooklyn Vegan. It’s nice to see the band making some inroads in the US though, even if they’ve not played there before. We’re guessing they’ll be heading over there in 2013 for South By SouthWest and the like.

As for the album? Well, it’s been getting rave reviews all over the place, from broadsheets to bedroom music blogs, and you can listen to the full thing below in all its impeccably catchy, weirdo-folk glory. The girls headline a (now rare) hometown gig at the Kazimier on December 14th after a jaunt across the country this winter with Mercury Prize nominated Alt-J. Knowing what the trio are like live, their Kaz’ Christmas party is destined to be a completely massive knees-up.
