Radar: Mazes at the Blade Factory

Liverpool Psych Festival head to the Camp & Furnace at the end of this week for a special psych-y knees-up with one of the UK's best new bands.

Ahead of their surely-very-ace two day shindig announced for this September (28th and 29th - more on that in the coming weeks), Liverpool Psych Festival are branching out into doing the occasional gig too.

This Friday sees the glorious Mazes head to Camp & Furnace’s Blade Factory. We’re big fans of the band, who take 60s-tinged West Coast pop and kick it into shape with a Krautrock influenced thud and thump. Check out brilliant single ‘Bodies’ below for a taster.

As well as Mazes, there’s support in the form of Mind Mountain and Alien Ballroom, and some typically trippy visuals too. DJs spin appropriately psych-y goodness until the early hours. Recommended.
