Always worth a look - and this year one of its strongest fields ever, in our opinion - the Liverpool Art Prize has its viewing tonight.
The prize, set up by Art In Liverpool’s indefatigable Ian and Minako Jackson, is an annual celebration, exhibition and duke-out for fine artists based or born in the Liverpool City Region. Once again, the exhibition of shortlisted candidates takes place at Metal, the Edge Hill station.
Go take a look, and cast your vote for the People’s Prize too: sadly, there’s no AV option. Maybe next yeah, eh? We’d hate for one of the artists to get less than 50% of the mandate.
SevenStreets is all for making our artists work harder to win our votes, yeah?
