Tribeca: Now on Smithdown Road

Another TriBeCa? Don't mind if we do. The Berry Street favourite heads Smithdown way, and celebrates with five free dinners for SevenStreeters.

You’ve heard us talk about how we love a pizza from a good, wood fired oven? And you’ve heard us say how we love TriBeCa? Well, whaddya know? One of our favourite haunts in town is branching out into new territory – Smithdown Road to be exact.

We’ve been watching the decorators hard at work over the past couple of months and as of tonight (29 May) TriBeCa Smithdown Road will be open to the public. With an interior that keeps the same retro feel as their Berry St HQ – all overblown Tretchikoffs and teak occasional furnishings - it has that same dangerously comfortable vibe that means you can while away the hours scoffing pizza (yes the famous stone baked specials will be making an appearance here) and trying out all of the cocktails.

They’re also expanding the menu to include a breakfast club on weekend mornings, promising great food, laidback tunes, bottomless cups of coffee (well, refillable, technically) and all the papers for you to peruse.

We’ve had a chat with the guys at TriBeCa and they’ve given us a great competition in celebration of their new arrival – 5 winners will receive a meal for two – two pizzas and a bottle of wine. Follow SevenStreets on Twitter and retweet one of our Tribeca tweets to win. Easy.

And if you’re not lucky enough to win, you can still take advantage of their opening offer of half price pizzas until 7th June – all you have to do is “like” them on Facebook, which is a social media site mostly populated by marketing companies.
