Hole in your Soul?

Moroccan hideaway at The Olive Press

The Olive Press

Sometimes, grabbing a quick burger isn’t enough to feed your soul (even though the new Burger King is about to open on Lord Street). That’s when we escape to the back room of Renshaw Street’s Olive Press for a half-hour meditation-to-go. Here, hides a little sub-Saharan square of Arabian Africa: complete with tagines, candle holders, wooden screens, pendant lamps and sequined soft furnishings. In an alternative universe, we could see The Coral holed up in here, writing their ‘return to form’ album. Until then, this secret bolt-hole is your best bet for magic and medicine of a Moroccan nature.
