Wild Planet at World Museum

Nature photography of the highest order on display at World Museum Liverpool this summer... Prepare to go 'aahhh'....

It’s the Greatest Hits of wildlife photography (or maybe ‘Now That’s What I Call Wildlife Photography’) at World Museum Liverpool.

Beautifully backlit, this 80-image collection represents the pinnacle of natural history images, hand picked by Chris Packham from previous years of ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ (which you might have seen here, or in the Conservation Centre, God rest its soul). ‘Wild Planet’ is a stunning summer show, with all your favourites: argumentative penguins, cuddly orangutans, snorkelling elephants and, yes, of course, meerkats. And it’s free.

Review: Bravo Figaro!

— A very different kind of show from Mark Thomas is a beautiful piece of work that doesn't patronise his father's illness, not ignore his frailties, as they connect over a love of opera.
