Radar: Liverpool DoES Startups

Liverpool DoES Startups offers an outlet for budding entrepreneurs to plan their businesses with the help of industry experts.

You don’t need to be Columbo to work out that, economically, times have been better. Against a deeply uncertain economic backdrop, you could easily be forgiven for thinking it’s the wrong time consider starting a business. But if you are there’s an event coming up that might interest you.

November 16-18 will see the second Liverpool DoES Startups event take place in the city. Experienced entrepreneurs with successful businesses will be on hand to guide you through understanding your idea, testing it, examining the market and even pitching to potential funders.

Over the weekend you’ll take an idea from conception to pitch and every step in between. Learn how to use the lean startup model to minimise risk and scale your business appropriately. It doesn’t have to be a tech idea, it could be anything. Just bring it along.

Liverpool DoES Startups costs £50 for Early Bird tickets (before Nov 1st) or £80 afterwards. Ticket prices include refreshments, lunch and a light evening snack.

You can book tickets via Eventbrite.
