A Talk of Two Halves

Club Geek Chic's second 'In Conversation' evening - just don't mention Rafa.

Sevenstreets once, tentatively, raised the issue of a joint Everton/Liverpool stadium to Ian St John. He nearly threw us off the Radio City Tower, so incensed was the ‘affable’ pundit. So let’s hope no one at this weekend’s Club Geek Chic event at the Small Concert Room dares ask him anything Stanley Park-related. The man who scored the winning goal in the 65 FA Cup Final, and now presents on City Talk, should make an interesting subject matter, and - continuing the format of these evenings - there’ll be acoustic versions of his favourite songs, played by a roll call of local musicians. It’s a relatively steep £15 entrance fee, though. Talk ain’t cheap.
