Review

Liverpool’s antedote to the mega-superclub phase of the late 90’s, Chibuku still feels fresh, after a decade’s worth of parties. Tub-thumping tunes, a reglular coitere of local and international DJs, and a room full of happy smiling scousers. What’s not to like? The irony? Chibuku’s so big these days, it regularly hosts its nights in Nation - where, yeah, that superclub ‘Cream’ erupted from. Expect an edgier sound here than at Circus, with DnB and techno flavours to the fore - as epitomised by the likes of Andy Weatherall and DJ Hype.
