We All Wish We Lived in…

In the town where we were born, lives a man who's doing up a boat with all mod cons and instant canal-side appeal...

This Yellow Canal Boat? Yeah, even Ringo couldn’t make that scan. But what a craft. We talked earlier about the need to enliven our waterfront, well this could be a great start: a canary yellow canal boat, portholes, sliced off conning tower - yeah, it’s almost a submarine, but it’s not quite submersible. And it’s currently getting fitted out, to be ready for hire in a few weeks, for a canal trip with a difference. Just don’t try taking it to the Octopus’s Garden or you’ll forfeit your deposit.

Ooh..we stayed on the Joker boat, and that was great, friends wanted to book it, but persuaded to have the yellow sub, later on this month, so look forward to stepping aboard

Fresh & new

Review: Bravo Figaro!

— A very different kind of show from Mark Thomas is a beautiful piece of work that doesn't patronise his father's illness, not ignore his frailties, as they connect over a love of opera.
