Static Gallery’s noise debate: watch video

If you weren’t at Static Gallery’s much-talked-about noise debate last week, you missed a fascinating, enlightening and thought-provoking event. The issue of city centre noise levels, nightlife, housing and how they all co-exist is a divisive and contentious issue, and it was powerful to see so many different points being put across from people with different priorities and opinions. It’s too soon to say what kind of impact it’s had, but we reckon a lot of eyes were opened that evening.

Liverpool’s best little online TV channel, BayTV, were there to capture some of the action. They’ve put together a three-and-a-bit minute film of what went down, which you can watch below or over at BayTV’s site.
