New Liverpool messiah arrives at Anfield

Once Reds decided that Woy Hodgson wasn’t good enough for LFC there seemed to be a groundswell of opinion that Kenny Dalglish was the only way ahead, at least in the interim.

With Hodgson gone, this seems like the best move possible at the moment. Dalglish should be able to provide a good dose of quality, common sense, reassurance and stability at a football club that has looked like a basket case for some time. For a while Hollyoaks wasn’t the most tiresome soap opera coming out of Liverpool.

With new owners and a new manager that all (OK, most) Reds can get behind there should follow a period of blessed relief for fans and non-fans alike.

Review: The Bear’s Paw, Warmingham

— Good food, good service, good accommodation, good setting. If we've one complaint about The Bear's Paw it's only that it's not closer to home.
