Leaf’s birthday party: in pictures

Tea shop/cafe/bar/gig venue Leaf has really come into its own since its move to Bold Street last year. Housed in the former Microzine store, it’s gathered a rather dedicated following right across Liverpool, and rightly so: its delicious food, ridiculous range of teas and laid-back atmosphere make it one of Ropewalks’ best hangouts.

On Friday (25th November) Leaf marked its first birthday at the Bold Street location, and they threw a suitably huge, ridiculously fun bash to celebrate. Headlined by legendary UK garage DJ, MJ Cole, one of our favourite local photographers Mark McNulty was there to document the evening. Head on over to Mark’s blog for the full selection from the night.
