It’s Goodbye From Me

I'm standing down from SevenStreets. At least for a while. So thanks for your support, and keep reading. It might probably be a happier experience...Dave

Thanks to everyone who read that miserable column thing yesterday. It was kinda my sign off. There’s no point trying to edit a site celebrating stuff going on in the city if you can’t, actually, get out there to do it. It’d be even more disingenuous of me than usual, if I was to annoy people with snarly reviews I was just, like, phoning in.

I’m beginning to realise, some things need your undivided attention. And grief is one. So I’m going away to write about it. Quite how I adjust my gears to write about it without including stuff about Amanda Harrington, seven random things, and cool new LIPA bands, I’ve no idea. And Harrington’s inconsolable. I’ll miss the brickbats. And the cupcakes. If you’ve been in touch with me over stuff, keep in touch with SevenStreets at [email protected], and hopefully I’ll see you again in a year or so.

Remember. We’re on a break. But that doesn’t mean you can sleep around with any other sites. There is no need. The ship keeps sailing.

David Lloyd
