GIT Music Awards: More Judges Announced

More judges lined up for GIT's inaugural Liverpool Music Awards. Surely enough to pick a deserving winner? Let's have no Speech Debelle nonsense.

As if it wasn’t enough that SevenStreets are on the judging panel (I mean, isn’t our opinion the only one that counts?) (no?) Peter Guy’s nascent awards bash announced more opinionated music types coaxed onto the ruminating bench today. Can you imagine how much hot air we’ll be billowing forth, as we discuss whether band x is way too derivative of band y? Oh the minutiae of musos.

So, yeah, as well as us, there’s scribes from the Guardian, LFC, NME, Waxxx Mag, Vice Magazine, The Quietus and Bido Lito. So if we don’t know our Steeling Sheep from our…er, insert other Liverpool band’s name here. We’re all out…
