Are you an acupuncturist?

DaDaFest is looking for an acupuncturist to take part in a performance by by La Pocha Nostra as part of the Deaf and Disability Art festival.

As part of Corpo Ilicito: The Post Human Society, Maria Alejandra Estrada will ‘use her body as a work of art’, decorating herself with 40 acupuncture needles, thereby creating a ‘colonised body’. Ouch.

All of which depends on DaDaFest finding an willing - and qualified - acupuncturist in the city who’s willing to take part.

• If you’re a qualified needler who’s up for it, contact [email protected] by Friday 12 November 2010.
