365 things to do in Liverpool before you die? #2

Just where in Liverpool can you ski down a rollercoaster?

We’re not aware of Liverpool as a big place for skiing - Brownlow Hill? The new Museum of Liverpool? We’re not aware of too many places you can get on a rollercoaster, apart from Chavasse Park, and intermittently at that.

But is there really somewhere in Liverpool you can ski down a rollercoaster? And, if so, would it really be on a list of things to do in the city?

All of which, of course, begs the question as to what would be on a bucket list (we looked it up) in Liverpool.

Would the Cavern (either one of them) be on the list of must-see attractions, because of its history? Or Ringo’s house for the same reason? Or something as genuinely horrifying as the Blue Angel?

Can such places sit side-by-side with Robert Tressell’s grave, Edward Chambre Hardman’s house on Rodney Street or the University of Liverpool Library’s Science Fiction library?

So come on Liverpool. Is it all about swimming with chimps and skating down a big dipper or bungee jumping off a Radisson?

What’s on your bucket list?

I think if you tried to ski down a rollercoaster, the chances of you doing any of the other 364 things would make any bucket list something of a moot point
