Radar: A Culture Less Ordinary

Returning to show the way, A Culture Less Ordinary operates at electronic frequencies hitherto unknown to science. And they're here to show you some curious new moves, too...

There are two certain truths in life: you should only attempt tackling a full inverted body roll in lycra whilst pressed against a very understanding friend (and on an empty stomach), and that the Culture Less Ordinary nights are jolly good fun.

So, we’re happy to announce the return of that Audio Voyeur and Rebel Soul mash-up, ‘A Culture Less Ordinary’- “Progressive and eclectic music operating beyond the parameters of convention,” they tell us. And who are we to argue? Especially when they’ve got us upside down and arse about tit?

As this is the season for hospitality, The Kazimier will be playing host to two very spatial acts for the listeners……..

Rhythmic soundscape trio People of K will be landing in Liverpool from Sweden for the first leg of their UK tour to lull the senses into rural tranquility, whilst Cardiff septet Inc.A wing their way up north to mash up jazz, Eastern European folk, Arabic and film music set to drum and bass, breakbeat and hip-hop rhythms.

The event will be, as usual, underpinned by DJs Audio Voyeur and Monkey, in an “irregular evening of strange musical happenings and joyful noise.”

Now, watch us as we carefully dismount and prepare ourselves.

Review: Bravo Figaro!

— A very different kind of show from Mark Thomas is a beautiful piece of work that doesn't patronise his father's illness, not ignore his frailties, as they connect over a love of opera.
