Club Fight

Two heavyweights of the Liverpool clubbing scene slug it out this weekend. The rules of Club Fights? Rule One, you do not talk about what Stephanie Heneghan's getting up to...

We’ve all just got back to working normal five day weeks again (boooo) when, lo and behold, there’s another flipping bank holiday to content with (yaaay!)

And where there’s bank holidays, there’s heavyweight club line ups. For the sake of dragging out a very tenuous link, we’re going to adopt the style of a boxing announcer for the rest of this piece…

IN THE RED CORNER!

Liverpool legends Cream are back once again to defend their title of ultimate Liverpool nightclub. With one time resident Seb Fontaine bringing the muscle and trance vocalist Jan Johnston performing live, they’re not going down without a fight.

…and IN THE BLUE CORNER!

Worthy opponents, Circus is rolling out the big hitters yet again. Superstar DJ Sasha (pic), once almost a permanent fixture at Cream, makes a welcome return to the Masque, backed up by one of the biggest names in US House, DJ Sneak.

Who will win out remains to be seen on the night. Our money is on the younger, fitter Circus… but this one could go the distance, so place your bets now!
