Life’s a glitch: Mercy’s GLTI.CH karaoke at Elevator Studios

Fancy some anarchic karaoke with a difference this week? Head down to Parliament Street for a free evening of mashed-up fun.

GLTICHMercy’s boundary-pushing Overlap arts programme has already brought us last month’s Spectres of Spectacle event at Static Gallery, and this week they’re prepping another one.

Set to hit the bar area in Elevator this Thursday, the spellcheck-hating ‘GLTI.CH’ sees a night of exploratory networked karaoke - connecting participants in Liverpool and London in glorious crooning harmony. Thanks, technology!

Funny and articulate poet Ross Sutherland is set to join in the fun too, performing brand new work over trippy TV clips and data-mashed footage.

Let’s face it, this one sounds more fun than the karaoke you’ll end up doing with people you can’t stand at your work Christmas party, right? Put us down for ‘Love Is A Battlefield’ - we’ll see you there.

GLTI.CH, 27th October
Elevator Studios cafe & bar, Parliament St
7.30pm, free
