Radar: The Basement Project

The brightest emerging Liverpool artists are going underground this week...but we're all invited. Want to see what talents are emerging? This is a good place to start.

Tired of pop up eyebrow threading gondolas/vintage fashion fairs/toasters? There’s more to pop-ups than a quick smash and grab in a shopping mall. Pop up exhibition, The Basement Project, is the result of a collaboration between the level 6 Fine Art Students from ADA (Liverpool), bringing life back to the basement of the handsomely proportioned, and sadly under-used John Foster Building. The project aims to explore the regeneration of neglected space. Looks like the city is their perfect canvas. Go check it out. Liverpool Art Prize winners of the future could well be among them.
