Radar: Another Weekend in the Kazimier Garden

The sun's out, time to head into the garden. And, this weekend, there's much to delay you (apart from the wonderful food and beers) with a vintage fair and chilled out tunes. Time to pop the Clarityn...

Look what’s happening in the garden of earthly delights this weekend - The Summertime White Elephant Bazaar!

Tucked into the now-essental Kazimier Garden, this outdoor vintage arts and crafts market offers everything from original 1920s wedding dresses to craft stalls, from local designers and makers - including Grand Central’s Curious Orange Shop (pic) to the illustrators at Lost Plots, all washed down with cold beers and delicious mello-mello made veggie grub.

Stay for the evening, and you’ll enjoy a four hour vinyl journey of discovery in the company of Jacques “alla console”, promising the perfect summer night soundtrack of “lost and found vinyls, sonic mysticism, fave kaz-jazz selections, chilled out freakadelia & freaked out chilladelia, vibrant oscillators, digi-reggae subeats, and electroid robo-techno..” In other words all those great tunes Danny Boyle overlooked in favour of Song 2 and Oasis.

And it’s all free.
